Sadly, MSDN help has been going down hill for quite some time. If you get a chance, take a look at the Microsoft Developer Library. I'm right now lokoing at the [Archive Edition (January 1997)]. Back then, we could define our own subsets. We could then use our subsets as the root' of all searches. If there were several places that we wanted our searches limited to, we made subset groups from each of the sources.Foreward to 1/12/2006 with a suggestion I placed on microsoft's connect website : Search subfolders from Content Pane closed as postponed. I've long since turned to google for helping me find the information i'm lokoing for even on microsoft's site. Most of my google searches start with site:microsoft.com {criteria} . Google provides a kind of subset' search that I've needed/depended for quite some time.I've also referenced you all's H3Viewer as a workaround to the Microsoft downhill experience(:-)) here : Visual Studio 2010 offline help experience is inferior to the Visual Studio 2008 offline help experience Kudos to you all. It seems you've got what microsoft lost.
